Large names shape the clicks. Military OneSource says the Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin, with about 30 warehouses, employs about 1,500 people, Wikipedia places it just under Safeway among employers, and Amazon, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tesla, Sutter Health, Kaiser Permanente, FedEx and Medline are all listed in the city's own fact sheet. Employer names attract job searches, so any campaign aimed at service buyers needs negative keywords for employment terms.
Among Tracy residents with jobs, retail trade (5,934 people, 12.9%), health care and social assistance (5,106, 11.1%), manufacturing (4,986, 10.8%) and professional, scientific and technical services (4,170, 9%) are the biggest groups, with construction at 4,092 and education at 3,557. A buyer at an office near Interstate 205 may read a landing page closely before calling, while a retail shopper wants hours and a map. Giving each its own campaign and phone number keeps the report honest.

Livermore and Pleasanton edges
A medical office or specialist can test a wider radius toward Livermore and Pleasanton in its own ad group, so the 17 miles to Livermore are tested rather than assumed and watch whether those calls book. If they do not, the radius shrinks and the money returns to Tracy.
Reach before the search
Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) can introduce a business to families that recently moved into Tracy Hills, with an offer that points to the same landing page as search. Reports keep the two sources separate.
