These are county figures, not the city's own counts, but they suggest that Google Ads in South San Francisco for these trades rewards precise keywords, a clear service area and a short list of exclusions more than a bigger daily budget.

Shops and offices along Grand Avenue run small radius campaigns with location extensions and open-now timing, so a person standing near City Hall at 400 Grand Avenue sees an ad that fits the minute. The Caltrain stop is mentioned as a direction.
Only where staff can answer
Where the team serves the 18.4% of residents who speak Spanish at home, or another language, a separate ad group carries a matching landing page and tracking number. Mixed coverage leaves callers waiting, so we add the group only when the phone will be answered in that language.
