Who searches and how
Language shapes paid search more here than in most Bay Area counties. 30.9% of residents speak Spanish at home, against 20.5% across the typical California city, and 20.7% were born abroad. An ad written in Spanish matches different searches than the same ad in English, so a clinic, a landscaper or a mover with Spanish-speaking staff can run a separate campaign with its own keywords, ad text and phone number rather than translating a single English one.
Napa's households sit near the middle of the state economically, with a median household income of $100,273 and a median home value of $771,700, and 40.9% of them rent. Renters call for fast repairs, cleaners, locksmiths and movers, while owners compare remodelers and landscapers. Ads that mention the exact trade and a direct phone line suit the first group, and ads that explain licensing and project range suit the second.
Daily travel is short. Only 14.5% of workers commute 45 minutes or more, well below 20.1% elsewhere, and 10.3% work from home. At 4,390 residents per square mile, Napa is dense enough that a service radius of a few miles covers real demand, which keeps location groups small and call-heavy campaigns practical for a plumber or a dentist.
A smaller layer matters too. 2.4% of homes are held for seasonal or occasional use, against 0.6% across California, and 18.4% of residents are 65 or older. In a city where 30.9% of residents speak Spanish at home, clinics, trades and movers with Spanish-speaking staff can run a campaign built from Spanish search terms rather than a translation of the English one. We use a separate phone number so the calls can be counted by language.

Residential remodelers are the largest group at 119 (106 of them small), followed by 93 landscaping services, 89 physicians offices, 78 dentists and 71 real estate agents and brokers. The county's count of such firms grew 5.1%, so the field is busier than it was. Because these are county figures, firms in Napa also share the results page with neighbors in American Canyon and St. Helena.
